What's The Basic Difference Between Face Wash And Cleanser?
"What is the difference between the face wash and cleanser? Why should we use them? What are the benefits of using them? Should we use any one of them or both? Are there any side effects of using both together?"
-Have such question ever popped up in your head? If Yes! then here is the answer to all your questions.
What is the basic difference between a face wash and a cleanser?
Well, at a normal level both a face wash and cleanser do a similar job of cleansing your face, but a face wash is a foaming cleanser and a cleanser is a non-foaming cleanser also we don't have to wash it off instead it needs to be wiped off.
How to choose the right face wash or cleanser?
While choosing the face wash just take a look at the ingredients to see if it might not overly dry your skin and also that it's soap-free or not-especially if you have sensitive skin.
And while choosing the cleanser your only consideration should be if it's gentle on your skin and not excessively oily too.
Do they work similarly or differently?
Both are used to remove dirt, oil and pollution from your face. If you see a cleanser helps you remove all the excess oil, make-up and grime from your face again all of these are oil-soluble impurities which can be removed from face wash too. But face wash might not be 100% effective.
Should we use any one or both?
If we see the basic job of a face wash is to remove deeper-seated debris and also cleanse pores but if you are wearing too much of make-up or if you have been exposed to a lot of dust and pollution then it's preferable to use a cleanser before using a face wash.
